It's been about five years since I posted anything to this blog.  Hard to believe.  During that time we have been living in the peaceful town of Coquille, Oregon, though there have been a few trips to Africa (Chad, Malawi and Liberia) to do short term work.  Sara has wandered to Mexico, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda.  Andrew has been to Haiti, Nicaragua, and currently he (with his wife, Kalie) is working in Ukraine.  Since the kids are all pretty well launched now, it seemed like the pull of Africa was overcoming again.  The trip to Malawi resulted in a call to come and work there full time, so that is where we are headed now.

As at this writing, we are attending the Institute of World Mission which is being conducted in Chiang Mai, Thailand, for three weeks.  It's a great time for learning, contemplation, fellowship and spiritual growth prior to resuming full-time mission work.  We're making new friends and enjoying the program, as well as the country.
